Poinciana High School Classroom Addition
The new two-story addition to Poinciana High School consists of 20 classrooms and can accommodate up to 500 students easing congestion for students and staff of the school. The expansion is the second building constructed on the campus since the school was built in 1992, and houses the school’s health science and engineering programs. Construction consisted of precast tilt-up wall with brick veneer, an elevated canopy walkway system, elevator, chiller yard, and the latest in the District’s technology standards. The project team also completed space reconfiguration in Building 3, which includes a café for the culinary arts program and modification of the woodshop classroom space.
