Project details include a million-gallon clear well to increase treated water storage, an eight-million-gallon reservoir for raw water, a new intake, raw and finished pumps and equipment, a backwash lagoon for future capacity, and a new switchgear for the emergency generator for reliable and seamless power transfers during power loss.
“Wharton-Smith is proud to contribute to a project that makes a difference in the Asheville community,” said Project Manager Frank DiPaolo. “Our team is ready to deliver this complex project and improve Asheville’s water infrastructure.”
