Vice President of Operations
Greg Williams was named Vice President of Operations in July 2023, after being hired as Director of Operations of Wharton-Smith’s South Florida Water Division in December of 2014. He has brought with him more than 20 years of experience in engineering and construction.
Greg’s responsibilities include oversight for the overall business performance of the South Florida Water Division. In this role, he is involved in every aspect of their projects — from estimating to operations. His expertise assures in-depth knowledge at every project level.
Throughout his career in South Florida, Greg has established strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers alike. Prior to joining Wharton-Smith, Greg worked for Crom Corp as Projects Director in Doha Qatar establishing the international division and for Florida Design Contactors for 10 years as Vice President of Construction in South Florida.
In addition to his professional experience, Greg is a proud graduate of Southern University and A&M College with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a certified General Contractor, a certified Mechanical Contractor, and a member of the Florida Engineering Society (FES).
Greg lives in Wellington, Florida, with his wife and two children.
