Jason Albano was promoted to Project Executive of Division 09 – Gulf Coast Commercial in January 2024 after serving as Senior Project Manager and Project Manager for all Escambia County School District projects. Jason has 15 years of experience in construction, leadership, team building, and operational management.
Jason’s responsibilities include oversight and performance evaluation of all Division 09 personnel and construction projects. He ensures client relations and goals are always maintained and provides the resources and guidance needed for all project teams to succeed.
Jason started his professional career as a U.S. Army Engineer Officer, where he was heavily involved in MILCON and other procurement mechanisms for construction and renovation improvements to federal facilities. After the military, Jason expanded his role into construction management in the private sector, working in many agencies and markets, including K-12, higher education, state enterprise services, hospitality, municipalities, federal, and more.
Jason graduated from the University of West Florida with a bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems. In addition, he has certificates in multiple U.S. Army Corps of Engineer programs for construction and Pro-Board-certified technician certificates in Emergency Management.
Jason is a lower Alabama/Panhandle native and found himself back developing and influencing the economy in the area he is from and loves. He participates in multiple leadership seminars, working groups, construction chapters, and other sponsorship events to stay plugged into the development and growth of Pensacola and its surrounding areas.
Jason lives in Pensacola with his wife and three boys. You can find him and his family playing travel baseball and other sports all along the panhandle at almost any given week of the year.
