Marian Jakubik is a General Superintendent with Wharton-Smith. He has over 35 years of construction experience across three continents.
Marian oversees field operations and project teams for Business Units 9, 11, and 18. He assists the preconstruction team with scheduling, construction sequencing, logistics, and staffing. He also participates in project pursuits by engaging with clients, providing constructability reviews, and participating in presentations.
Marian joined Wharton-Smith in 2018, bringing with him years of experience across multiple positions like operator, foreman, superintendent, director of operations, and general superintendent. Gaining expertise in subjects such as construction planning, scheduling, building code, and more, Marian believes in operational excellence and continuous improvement. As a mentor, he motivates field staff, providing training and guidance to the next generation of leaders.
In addition to his professional experience, Marian is also LEED Certified as well as OSHA 30. Marian resides in St. Petersburg, FL, with his wife of over 25 years. He has three children and in his spare time, enjoys the outdoors, often running, hiking, swimming, or kayaking.
