Tim Moore joined Wharton-Smith in 2009 and currently serves as General Superintendent, overseeing other superintendents within the Carolinas and Jacksonville, Florida regions. Tim began his construction career working with his father, who was a masonry contractor. After several years of working alongside his dad, Tim decided to specialize in carpentry by joining the Carpenters Union and going through their apprenticeship program.
After finishing the program, Tim worked at several local theme parks, rising through the ranks to serve as Superintendent. It was then that he joined Wharton-Smith in 2009 as a Superintendent. His excellent leadership skills, passion for quality, and special attention to client satisfaction earned him several promotions, such as Senior Superintendent in 2018, Area Superintendent in 2022, and General Superintendent in 2024.
In his current capacity, Tim works alongside the Production Planning team, supporting their growth and commitment to holding each job site to Wharton-Smith’s standards of excellence. Tim’s focus on field operations ensures our projects run smoothly and efficiently while keeping safety at the forefront.
Tim resides in Longwood with his wife and daughter and loves spending time with his family, bowling with them once a week. Tim is excited to become a USF Bulls fan as his daughter starts at USF in the fall.
