Savanna Bogue, Project Engineer at South Florida Water, passed the Professional Engineer (PE) exam.
“I was excited to see that I passed my PE exam after months of studying while working full-time,” Savanna said. “Not only did I gain important knowledge to help further pursue my career at Wharton-Smith, but I’m now one step closer to achieving my Professor Engineer (P.E.) license.”
The eight-hour exam is split into two sections Breadth and Depth, with 40 questions each. The breadth covers the fundamentals of all civil disciplines, including Structural, Geotechnical, Water Resources, Economics, Geomatics, etc. The depth covers the discipline chosen by the applicant. Savanna chose Water Resources and Environmental, which includes water/wastewater treatment, closed conduit, open channel hydraulics, hydrology, and groundwater.
