Davenport High School

Wharton-Smith is providing Preconstruction and Construction Management services to Polk County Public Schools on the new AAA High School project, located in Davenport, Florida. The new 345,000 s.f. school will be a state-of-the-art prototype which will include connected classroom buildings, administration offices, 800-person capacity auditorium, media center, gymnasium, cafeteria, culinary arts kitchen/classroom, band, chorus and fine arts classrooms, central courtyard with elevated walkways, sports fields with stadium amenities for football, baseball and softball, as well as all associated site work. The project site is 65-acres in northwest Polk County.
