Wharton-Smith provided Construction Management at Risk services for Mount Dora on Fire Station #35. The Mount Dora Fire Station #35 is composed of a station house containing crew quarters for six staff per shift, air lock system, underground utilities, three drive through apparatus bays, and other site work. The facility is designed to be approximately 9,116 SF. This signature facility for the City of Mount Dora, meets stringent survivability, functional criteria and creates civic architecture that fosters pride in the community. The floor plan promotes not only functionality and rapid response times, but also fire fighter health and safety. This facility represent the City’s long-term investment in the Mount Dora community and is intended to function for many years.
