Built in tribute to Deputy Scott Pine who has killed in the line of duty in 2014, the Deputy Scott Pine Community Park is a joint-use facility constructed in partnership between Orange County Parks and Recreation and Orange County Public Schools. The 19.5-acre park dually serves the West Orange community and nearby Windermere High School with an eight-acre football stadium and IAAF performance athletic track with rubberized service. The stadium also includes a concessions building with restrooms and locker rooms, digital scoreboard, LED lighting, press box and bleachers. In addition to the football stadium, the park includes artificial turf multi-purpose fields for soccer and lacrosse, greenspace, and the future build out of a playground.
