The project is currently under construction by Wharton-Smith. It is a 12,480 SF stand-alone cafetorium at Mims Elementary School. The new cafetorium includes student dining, an ancillary performance stage, a kitchen, faculty dining and restrooms, student restrooms, office/admin space, storage, and MEP support spaces. The new cafetorium will also serve as an EHPA self-sustaining hurricane shelter. A new parent drop-off/pick-up loop and additional parking will also be provided.
