Wharton-Smith provided General Contracting services on the Ocean Enterprise Facility for Mississippi State Port Authority. This 62,509 SF project is occupied by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), as well as the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). NOAA and USM utilize this building to perform aquatic and marine research in the Gulf of Mexico. It includes multiple laboratory spaces with additional wet and dry labs and multiple classrooms.
