The project is divided into several phases to be completed over three years. The first of the three primary construction phases are the renovation of the public dining and kitchen areas of two food courts (A&B), the second phase is the renovation of the kitchen area of an additional food court (C) and a counter service cafe (E/F Café). The final phase involves flooring replacement at two public restaurants and the selective demolition, renovation and upgrade of a service kitchen and dish-room. The public dinning portion of the renovation includes new framing and drywall, decorative wood wall systems, wood and drywall ceilings, solid surface countertops, stainless steel column wraps, storefront windows, updated light fixtures, luxury vinyl tile, updated furniture, digital signage and a coffee bar. The kitchen renovation includes, new sanitary, electrical, domestic water, HVAC and fire protection systems, replacing the floor of the kitchen with epoxy flooring and install new serving counters and all new food service equipment complete with new exhaust hoods, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
In Food Court-C, the kitchen will be renovated similar to Food Courts A&B as well as involving the installation of new finishes and digital signage at the façades surrounding the service counters facing the Food Court-C dining area. E/F Café includes a complete demolition of the old café and kitchen area to be replaced with new walls complete with new kitchen equipment, exhaust hoods, walk-in coolers, and floors. The café also has a small, guest facing, seating area which will receive all new finishes as well.
