Wharton-Smith provided Construction Management at Risk services at the Sheriff’s District 3 Office for Charlotte County, Florida. This project included building a new 16,574 square foot Sheriff’s Administration Building that consisted of offices, conference and training rooms, and an armory and fitness area.
A new 24,565 square foot Evidence Building was also built that included new offices, evidence vaults, evidence processing and cleaning rooms, a faraday room, and new impound evidence bays with a new backup generator, and a chiller plant to service the entire 20-acre site.
The overall site is 60 acres with room for future expansion.
