Wharton-Smith has been providing continuing services for the University of Central Florida since 2008. Under our recent contract for minor services under $2 million, Wharton-Smith completed 88 projects totaling $14.4 million. Projects consist of new construction and minor renovations including civil, roadwork, electrical, HVAC, laboratory and classrooms. Select projects include: Chemistry Lab Build-Out, Soccer and Track Long Jump, Visitor and Parking Information Center, Library 2nd Floor Repurposing, JT Washington Plaza, Solar Charging Station, HPA II – Lab Modification, Visual Arts A/C Replacement, Football Club Level Restrooms, and the Emergency Operations Center.
