Westin St. John Resort & Villas

The Westin St. John Resort & Villas – Upper Hillside Villas Conversion Phase I project consisted of the complete conversion of 334,932 square feet of building area that spanned four existing buildings into 54 luxurious time share villas. The new and existing villas were stripped to their basic structural elements. Outdated and inadequate, the plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems were replaced with new piping, wiring, and switchgear, as well as a new 100,000 gallon fire protection cistern. Handicap egress was gained with the addition of new elevator structures and walkways. Wharton-Smith self-performed all of the structural and outside envelope aspects of the project.
