Eagle Award Winner – Mosely High School Band & Choir Room Renovations & Addition and Outdoor Education Center: Educational Projects $5-10M
“The Mosley High School Band Room Addition & Renovation and Outdoor Education Center is an embodiment of Wharton-Smith’s ability to plan and execute, all while forging lasting relationships, in a new market with a new architect and a new client – a true testament of the Wharton-Smith way,” said Area Manager AJ Brown. “We were afforded an introductory opportunity to perform a fast-paced project on a busy occupied campus – and the facilities we were providing were very near and dear to the hearts of the end users. The band and choir programs entrusted us with improving and providing new facilities that will serve generations of future students and performers. The Outdoor Education Center is a first-of-its-kind purpose-built space to teach the Outdoor Education curriculum, first introduced by now Bay District School Board Member Coach Winston Chester in 1993. We were truly privileged to be given the opportunity to provide this space that will facilitate future generations of students to learn about outdoor skills and the life lessons they offer.”
