Originating as an all-volunteer station for Campbell City, Station 43 has served its community for decades. The new Fire Station, being developed less than a mile from the current station, is a purpose-built, efficient, and sustainable new station with greater facility space for personnel to live, work, and train, and is designed within the Florida Green Building Coalition standards.
“The new fire station stands as a lasting symbol to the commitment we have for public safety,” said District 1 Commissioner Peggy Choudhry. “This new home for Station 43 will not only provide comfort and security to our residents and visitors but also serve as a proud and empowering space for our dedicated firefighters and paramedics.”
