At Wharton-Smith, we always aim to involve students who are passionate about the construction industry; that’s why our team over at Pine Crest Elementary School were pleased to host a jobsite tour for those in the ABC UCF Chapter.
These students had the opportunity to observe several different trades taking place, discuss various aspects of the project, and understand our Wharton-Smith Way.
This tour was initiated by student chapter president and Wharton-Smith Preconstruction Service Engineer intern, Alden Gunder, who had some kind words for our crew: “Thank you for sharing your construction knowledge with the students. I received positive feedback on how much they learned from the site tour. We hope to come back for a second tour of the school.”
