The Wharton-Smith Technology Group was completing an inventory of their equipment and realized they had quite a few gently-used laptops that needed a good home. Bobby Sams, IT Supervisor, reached out to Darin Crafton, EVP Commercial, to see if Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) had a need for some computers.
The Chief Technology Officer at SCPS was quick to respond, “Thank you for the very generous offer.”
With that, 50 laptops, valued at more than $15,000, were made ready for transfer to SCPS and picked up on April 16.
