Wharton-Smith, Hazen, and Atlantic Sapphire Celebrate the Start of New Bluehouse Project
Jupiter, FL – Wharton-Smith Construction Group celebrated the start of the Miami Bluehouse Phase 2 project with a kick-off event on June 30, 2021. Wharton-Smith was joined by project engineer, Hazen and Sawyer, and Bluehouse owner, Atlantic Sapphire.
Wharton-Smith is the Construction Manager on the project providing pre-construction and construction management at risk services for the Miami Bluehouse Phase 2.
Wharton-Smith President & CEO, Ron Davoli addressed the project team over lunch, saying, “The team is the key to making this project successful. Whether it’s the owner Atlantic Sapphire, ourselves, the engineer, or subcontractors—we’ve got to work as a team. We’re here to give the client the best product possible and come through this with a highly successful project. I want to thank Hazen and Sawyer and Atlantic Sapphire for the opportunity.”
Atlantic Sapphire started in Hvide Sande, Denmark, and has since brought their sustainable practices to South Florida. Atlantic Sapphire’s mission is to innovate fish farming locally to transform protein production globally. Their vision is to nourish both people and planet with sustainable, ocean-safe seafood.
Construction of the Miami Bluehouse Phase 2 has already begun, with the final completion scheduled for 2023. “Thank you to Atlantic Sapphire for making Wharton-Smith your construction group of choice,” said Greg Williams, Director of Operations of Wharton-Smith’s Southeast Florida office.
