Hurricane Ian Recovery continues for our Wharton-Smith teams in North Port and Fort Myers. The offices are officially back up and running after being closed for two weeks; however, there is still a long road to recovery for some team members whose homes suffered significant damage.
Senior Proposal Coordinator Desiree Strickling voiced her appreciation on LinkedIn of fellow team members who’ve stepped up to help. She said thank you to “everyone from our Wharton-Smith family who have come together to get us supplies and provide muscle strength to help with clean-up efforts!” She went on to say, “This whole experience has been mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausting, but we are blessed to live another day with our loved ones, and I feel blessed to work with such wonderful people.”
Project Executive Caryn Huff also expressed her gratitude by saying, “in the construction industry, we face challenges all of the time; however, you see what people are made of when you walk through a major crisis with them. I could not be any more proud of this team!”
