The project team at The Villages Charter High School (TVCHS) joined Habitat for Humanity Lake-Sumter (HFHLS) to participate in the 2022 Jingle Build-Off. See slideshow highlights.
The Jingle Build-Off is an annual team-building program designed to act as a fundraiser for HFHLS while providing Christmas gifts to families in the local community. The team entry fees fund affordable housing solutions in Lake and Sumter Counties. At the same time, the constructed playhouses are donated to local families for years of enjoyment.
The Vargas family – mom, dad, and their three children were so happy to receive the Wharton-Smith Minecraft playhouse.
Larry Sease commented, “As a Board Member for HFHLS, I was excited to again have the opportunity for Wharton-Smith to support this great cause. This year we knew the family we were building for and had the request for the Minecraft theme. Special thanks to our Team Lead for the 2nd consecutive year, Denise Hatton, for all the planning and pulling everything together on the day of the build.”
