The new 115,604-square-foot, two-story building is being constructed on a 37-acre green field site adjacent to Ocoee High School. The $48 million facility will be the future home of students focusing on career training programs, including building construction technology, HVAC, electricity, and cosmetology.

“There are a lot of staff members who are here today who have put blood, sweat, and tears into planning and developing this, so it will best serve our students,” said Dr. Michael Armbruster, OCPS deputy superintendent. “I must tell you it’s an exciting day for me to stand here knowing that what was once a dream is becoming a reality.”

The new campus is set to open in 2024.
