Years of hard work and dedication continue to bring good fortune to the South Florida team. While a ribbon cutting for their new space occurred on Nov. 1, 2022, an Open House Celebration was hosted by the Wharton-Smith Events Team on Feb. 24, 2023. See more pictures.
“The celebration was crafted to reaffirm our commitment to the area, “Tom Jakubisin, Area Manager, said. “It gave us the opportunity to nurture established relationships and cultivate new ones with Owner Representatives, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and more.”
Wharton-Smith Executives from Corporate and Tampa were present and available to mingle with community members. President Tim Smith and Director of Operations Greg Williams provided a warm and welcoming speech and a champagne toast to open the celebratory event. A brief history and background of Wharton-Smith’s South Florida involvement and expansion were also shared.
“There was no better way for our guests and team to enjoy the end of a week than with catered appetizers, drinks, and desserts,” Tom said. “And our South Florida team members savored the excitement and opportunity to offer their clients and business partners personal tours of the newly renovated 10,000+ square foot facility.”
When commenting about the event’s success, Tom said, “The feedback has been tremendous, and the camaraderie and information sharing is already leading us toward future work and growth. We are forging ahead in South Florida!”
