On July 27, the School District of Palm Beach County, in conjunction with their Office of Diversity, hosted a food festival at Santaluces Community High School.
The event was for 600 attendees, primarily consisting of principals and supervisors, along with the School District of Palm Beach County COO and Director of Diversity. Wharton-Smith was a proud sponsor of the event, providing drinks for everyone, lunches for 50+ band members, and a table full of giveaways for everyone to enjoy. The intent of the district was to introduce local SBE/MBE Food Vendors to the attendees for utilization as needed throughout the school year(s). The Palm Beach County Black Chamber of Commerce was also represented.
