On October 2, Wharton-Smith team members joined members of the Seaside School Foundation to break ground on the new Seacoast Collegiate High School campus in South Walton County, Florida. See pics here.
Wharton-Smith is serving as the Construction Manager on the Foundation’s Seacoast Collegiate High School expansion located on Northwest Florida State College’s South Walton campus. This project consists of three new buildings: the Accelerator, the Seacoast Collegiate High School Classroom Building, and the Northwest Florida State College Classroom Building. Upon completion, the 68,000-square-foot campus expansion will ensure the 9-12 grade students in dual enrollment can graduate from high school with their associate degree without traveling to multiple schools.
“Wharton-Smith is honored to be a part of this transformative project for the Walton County community. We’re thankful for the opportunity and look forward to forging lasting relationships,” said Project Executive AJ Brown.
Construction is scheduled to be complete by the Summer of 2025, in time for the new school year.
