This Design-Build project includes the design and construction of a 27,000 SF administration building on the existing campus of the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office in Vero Beach, Florida. This expansion is intended to provide dedicated space for IT, HR, Finance, Internal Affairs, and more.

“When we took over this building in the 80’s, things like IT servers and storage spaces weren’t really a thing,” said Indian River County Sheriff Eric Flowers. “I’m really excited to add this new complex and think it will greatly impact how we serve the citizens of Indian River County.”

“JL2 did an incredible job designing this building for IRCSO,” said Project Manager Nick Enns. “The construction team at Wharton-Smith along with our partners at Hayes Construction Group is excited to bring this design to life and provide an amazing facility for the Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Indian River County.”

The project is expected to be completed in Summer 2026
