On May 29, Wharton-Smith hosted a subcontractor appreciation luncheon at the DeBary Fire Station #39 project. Subcontractors were treated to project t-shirts and a delicious catered lunch by Brian’s Bar-b-q, and everyone won at least one gift card during the raffle. See photos.
“We owe a debt of gratitude to our firefighters and first responders,” said Project Superintendent Dominic Porreca. “It’s only right that they have the tools, space, and resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. I want to thank everyone involved, our city officials, architects, construction teams, subcontractors, emergency personnel, and community partners, for helping bring this vision to life.”
This project includes a new three-bay fire station located on Fort Florida Road. The new fire station will consist of living quarters, gear storage, apparatus facilities, an emergency generator, parking lots, and a host of other components.
