On June 28, Wharton-Smith joined the City of Casselberry to cut the ribbon and re-open the newly renovated Wirz Park. See photos.

Wharton-Smith renovated and expanded the event building and bathhouse, added a new zero-entry pool, a new playground, a basketball court, a pavilion, an outdoor volleyball field, and more!

“This project has been more than just a construction job,” said Director of Operations Bert Fonseca. “It’s been about creating a destination where the community can come together, where families can make memories, and where future generations can grow and thrive.”

Wharton-Smith was awarded six Casselberry parks projects after voters approved a bond referendum back in 2020, including Secret Lake Park, the Casselberry Art HouseWheel Park, Wirz Park, Dew Drop Park, and Sunnytown Park.

Congratulations to the entire project team on a phenomenal job well done!
