On August 29, Wharton-Smith celebrated our partners and subcontractors alongside the Village of Wellington at the topping out of the new state-of-the-art Aquatics Center. See photos.
The new facility will feature a competition pool, a diving pool, a multi-purpose/learn-to-swim pool, a separate recreational pool with a play structure and zero-depth entry, and a NinjaCross obstacle course. Also included are locker rooms, concessions, administrative offices, and more.
At the topping out ceremony, guests enjoyed custom project t-shirts, a delicious catered lunch, and participated in a raffle featuring tools, coolers, televisions, and more!
“Achieving this structural milestone reflects the hard work, craftsmanship, and coordination of the entire team,” said Project Manager Donald Williams. “We are excited to see this facility taking shape and to deliver a place where the Wellington community can come together, compete, learn, and enjoy.”
